If there's been one bad thing to come out of the past console generation, it was the prospect of having to download and install a large game or update before being able to play. Preload functionality, which came later into the PS4 and Xbox One generation, has eased some of the frustration around that, but disc-based gaming still had to install a game in full on launch day.

The app aside from that is well worth checking out: it also has console stream functionality built in, meaning you no longer need the additional Xbox Streaming beta app in order to access the feature.
